2. Print it
Teach them the letters in their name. Point to the first letter of their name:
- L says /L/ for Liam
- G says /G/ for Gavin
- L i a m spells Liam
- G a v i n spells Gavin

5. Once your child know most of the letters and sounds they need to understand that letters build words. Below is a great video to teach this idea.
