Ideas for working on decoding
1. Picture Walk- Take a moment and look at each page of the book with your child talking about the pictures. This allows them to learn what words may be in the book.

2. You read a sentence then have your child read it.
3. Read easy books with your child over and over again. Add silly voices to make it more interesting!
4. Write simple messages to your child to read i.e. Please make your bed! Have a great day!
